Then, I moved across the hall to another indie brokerage with some friends that I had made along the way. It was here that I learned how to really be a real estate professional. We were in the office by 8:30, had a Tom Ferry coach, farming, flipping homes, and sourcing deals for investor clients. It was here that I read Crush It, by Gary Vaynerchuk and learned that I wasn’t just a real estate professional, I was a media company that happened to sell homes. That was it, the single most influential mantra of my career, still to this day. This phase is where video marketing kicked in, and I began to lean into social media as my preferred distribution channel.
In 2018, that indie brokerage (and I) decided to join COMPASS, an upstart brokerage from NYC. It was about this time that I started The Cassity Team (s/o Kimthy Bui my OG roll dog). This chapter is where I progressed from being a real estate agent into running a business. Being surrounded by SO MANY top producing agents was one of the most motivating things that’s ever happened to me. My referral business exploded (thank you), and we made strategic partnerships around the world.

The Cassity Team has joined REAL, a cloud-based brokerage with reach across the US & Canada. We evaluated the inner workings of 5-6 different brokerages/models, and Real was the clear winner in helping us achieve the goals that we have moving forward.
